Question 1: Who are you?

I am Martijn Stap, 24 years old, and I have been living with my girlfriend in beautiful 's Hertogenbosch for almost 2 years now. A bit from Ede, but that shouldn't spoil the fun.

Question 2: What are your hobbies?

I like sports: I play soccer, padel and in between I go to the gym. Furthermore, I really enjoy the Burgundian life in the south (although you may wonder if that is really a hobby).

Question 3: Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

That’s a tough question, because I’m still young, of course. In any case, my ambition is to learn as much as possible about business growth and sales. In 5 years, I hope to still be here, but if the opportunity arises, I’d also like to start advising companies on my own.

Question 4: What do you like to do on weekends?

My weekends are often full of activities: sports, terraces, visiting a festival here and there or just spending time with friends/family. Very occasionally I have a weekend with an empty agenda in which I don't have to do anything. Also wonderful!

Question 5: What is your favorite travel destination?

I prefer to go to the mountains in Austria. But I also love lying on a beach on one of the Greek islands. Just baking!

Question 6: What is your favorite social media channel?

Instagram! I like to switch off after a hard day's work and watch some reels with my mind at zero.

Question 7: What is your favorite music?

Not because the question is difficult, but because I listen to so much different music. From the harder styles and Dutch hip-hop to the classical music of Ludovico Einaudi.

Question 8: How did you like your first week at OMA?

You know those weighted blankets? And one of those lovely hotel beds in a maybe-too-expensive hotel? That's what landing at OMA feels like. Warm welcome from all colleagues and you are immediately involved and included in everything. Can't be anything but positive about the first week!

Question 9: What is your role at OMA?

I started at OMA as a Business Developer where I will be busy with sales a.k.a. linking services to the needs of new customers. In this way, I ensure that Daniël has more time in his schedule for other things 😉.

Question 10: What is your specialty within OMA?

It’s still hard to say for sure, but based on my critical perspective, I think I can add the most value by structuring processes within our sales operations and facilitating the handoff to our marketing specialists.
