10 Questions for Stacey Buyserd

Question 1: Who are you?

Hi! I’m Stacey, 26 years old, and I live in beautiful Nijmegen. I’m originally from Ingen, a small village in the Betuwe region. In between, I also lived in Amsterdam for five years while studying at the Hotel Management School.

Question 2: What are your hobbies?

I’ve been riding horses my whole life; I was on a horse before I could even walk on my own two feet. I also love eating out, and I enjoy trying new restaurants whenever I visit a new city. You’ll also find me at the Pilates studio twice a week to keep my core strong and my life in balance.

Question 3: Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

In five years, I hope to have bought my own little house in Nijmegen and to have become a fully-fledged marketer. It would also be great if, by then, I could take on a management role and make my ambitious plans a reality.

Question 4: What do you like to do on weekends?

I love being around people, so my weekends are often filled with social activities. Think festivals, going out to eat, hanging out with friends, horseback riding, or spending time with my niece and nephew.

Question 5: What is your favorite travel destination?

Ooh, that’s a tough one! There are so many beautiful places in the world, and so many more I’d love to see. I love everything about Italy: the food, the wine, and the nature. But I also love whizzing down the mountains on skis in Austria. I also really enjoy traveling to faraway places, and I’d love to do that much more often.

Question 6: What is your favorite social media channel?

Right now, it’s definitely TikTok: friend and foe. I can spend hours scrolling through it, watching videos, and finding inspiration for all sorts of things.

Question 7: What is your favorite music?

My taste in music varies quite a bit depending on the time of year or my mood. It mainly swings between techno/house, classic Dutch bangers, and jazz/soul.

Question 8: How did you like your first week at OMA?

So far, I’ve felt very welcome. Everyone is open, and it’s clear what’s expected of me. I’m looking forward to continuing my professional development here!

Question 9: What is your role at OMA?

I’m starting at OMA as an online marketer. At first, I’ll be focusing mainly on SEO. As time goes on, I want to discover where my passion lies and which service area I’d like to specialize in further.

Question 10: What is your specialty within OMA?

I enjoy working with clients to see how we can improve their overall online marketing strategy. I’m also looking forward to discovering at OMA which area of specialization is the best fit for me.
