Within one year more valuable leads than they ever expected

Vormz is a 3D printing company with a clear mission. They help companies with innovative and scalable printing solutions. Although they had been working hard on their growth for years, their old website was lagging behind. It was too slow, too technically complex, and no longer suited to their B2B proposition. Together with OMA, they decided to do things differently. They went for a new website, built with conversion and usability in mind.

Objective

The old website no longer met Vormz's business goals. The look and feel did not sufficiently match the professional services they offer. And the site was also technically inadequate.

The new website needed to be clear, conversion-oriented and fast. More importantly, they needed to attract targeted business customers and make it immediately clear what Vormz stands for.

The challenge

Vormz made the strategic decision to focus entirely on the B2B market. Though, the existing website still appealed to a mixed audience, resulting in many private inquiries. The challenge was to build a website that clearly communicates that Vormz is there for businesses. Without fuss, with clear content, structure and call-to-actions.

Work performed

When revamping Vormz's website, OMA oversaw the entire process. Our work included the following:

  • Figuring out a clear and scalable URL structure;
  • Rewriting all website text with a focus on conversion and search intent;
  • Creating a complete redirect overview to maintain SEO value;
  • Performing technical optimizations on the back end of the website;
  • Guiding the entire website migration;
  • Performing a conversion analysis (CRO) that served as the basis for the new design.

Every step was focused on making the migration run smoothly, improving the user experience as well as increasing the number of quality inquiries.
