Meet Michelle van den Bos

This is Michelle. Michelle flies around the world and somewhere in between her travels ended up at OMA as office manager. And we're happy about that, because Michelle handles everything in the office. Really everything. Is there an empty pen? Michelle still has one in her purse. Shoulder pain? Michelle arranges a massage. What would we do without her?
To be honest: no idea. But we are probably going to find out soon, because by the sounds of it, she has already planned another city trip to Bucharest and will be searching for the last giant tortoises in the Galapagos Islands this summer. Luckily for us, the fire department is right around the corner....
What are you mainly concerned with within OMA?
As office manager I deal with very diverse tasks, in addition to supporting Daniel I am also involved in human resources, accounting and facility management. I also take care of some team building and fun outings, because that is also important.

What has been your most fun company party or team outing ever?
I once organized a company party for over 100 people with a "1001 night" theme. I had thought out everything down to the last detail and really almost everyone came dressed in the theme. It was a sincere success.
And at OMA I got to organise a whole weekend, abroad even, with all the trimmings. Being allowed to organise things like that for my work is the icing on the cake for me.
What character trait would you most like to give to everyone?
It's not really a character trait, but give time and attention to the people around you who are important to you. Because making time for each other is an important key to your relationship. In fact, I think it is the best gift you can give your partner, your parents, your children, your friends, your close colleagues, etc.
