10 questions for Giuliano Koelewijn

This is Giuliano, who has returned to OMA as an online marketer after a successful internship. High time to ask him the ropes.

Question 1: Who is Giuliano Koelewijn?

Buongiorno!!! I am Giuliano Koelewijn. But you can also say Giulio, you know. I am 26 years old and come from the most beautiful village in the Netherlands: Bunschoten-Spakenburg.

Question 2: What are your hobbies? 

In my spare time, I am very involved with sports and nutrition. For example, I can be found in the gym six times a week and try to maximize every workout.

Furthermore, I can really enjoy a good series, exciting movie (preferably at the cinema), hearty festival or an unprecedentedly delicious restaurant. You can also wake me up for slightly more adventurous activities. Think skydiving, bungee jumping or paintballing!

Question 3: Where do you see yourself in five years? 

I prefer to see me walking around Bunschoten-Spakenburg. With a house of my own, though. Friends and family are very important to me and I like to keep them close.

In terms of career, I just hope to have it so that I can do fun things with the people I care about without having to think twice about it.

Question 4: What do you like to do on weekends? 

Recovering from the work week! No, just kidding. On the weekends, I get to exercise, go out with my friends and go to church.

Question 5: What is your favorite social media channel? 

That, without a doubt, is YouTube! So I can proudly say that I belong to 1.25% of the world's population that has a YouTube Premium account.

Question 6: What is your favorite music? 

It still varies sometimes, but in general I like to listen to techno.

Question 7: What is your favorite travel destination? 

The hotel Costa Meloneras in Maspalomas in Gran Canaria! There are a lot of great memories there. I also know a lot of people there by now, so I like to keep coming to the island.

Question 8: How did you like your first week at OMA? 

I did my professional internship at OMA in 2023, so I already knew what to expect. So my first real week as an employee at OMA can be described in one word: familiar. It felt like I was on vacation alone!

Question 9: What is your role within OMA? 

Currently I mainly perform SEO work, but I am open to learn new parts, skills and knowledge. For my own development as an online marketer of course, but also for OMA!

Question 10: What is your specialty within OMA?

At the time of writing, I don't think it is yet appropriate to call myself a true specialist in any particular field. But what is not can still come! However -I wouldn't be myself if I didn't mention it- all my colleagues can use my expertise in the field of sports!
